In last summer holiday , Me and my friends made a plan to visit Mount Everest at Nepal , so it was my job to do all the research work for our safe and comfortable travel . As I started my research , I learn about very interesting facts and best locations to visit in Nepal , One interesting thing is that Nepal is also very famous for its Open Child labors in the world .
Child labor ? what it means ?
It basically means to hire or make a child ( below 14 years ) work for you or any kind of labor work . It is illegal in most of the countries around the world but at some countries like Bangladesh , Africa , Pakistan , and Nepal , Main reason which promoting child labor is poverty and Bad economy of the country .
A total of 152 million children — 64 million girls and 88 million boys — are in child labor globally, ac- counting for almost one in ten of all children worldwide . In terms of incidence, 5% of children are in child labor in the Americas, 4% in Europe and Central Asia, and 3% in the Arab State .
The term “child labor” is often defined as work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential and their dignity, and that is harmful to physical and mental development. It refers to work that: is mentally, physically, socially or morally dangerous and harmful to children; and/or.
A child gone do any kind of work without thinking how it gone harm him/her .
Its very cheap to hire a child , and they will work for you with very low wages .
A child doesn't know what is good or bad SO you can make them to do any kind of work even if its even illegal like Firearms manufacturing , Drugs , or prostitution .
Child labor was associated with poor concentration in class, increased rates of teenage pregnancies, engagement in drug abuse and involvement in armed conflicts.
