Walking is by far one of the easiest exercises to help you lose weight. It can be a great starting point for those who have not exercised in a while. Walking is often overlooked, but if you can make an effort to walk for at least 30 min every day, you’ll be on your way to burning fat steadily.

If you feel that you are comfortable with walking and would like to kick it up a notch, you can start running. It’s an excellent fat burner and all it takes is a comfortable pair of running shoes and your ready to go. Make sure to ease yourself into a running regime, so that you aren’t injuring yourself.

Cycling outside on a bicycle or on a stationary bike are both great ways to start losing weight. It works out your arms, core, and legs simultaneously. Try biking with your family and have some fun as you work towards burning off excess pounds.

Weight lifting is a step above the previously mentioned exercises and should be done when you feel like you are ready. Now if you are worried that you’ll eventually become too muscular or bulky, that isn’t the case most of the time. Most bodybuilders have a strict training regime and diet that they follow in order to develop that physique.

Swimming is another great way to burn body fat. It’s a great option because it’s a non-weight bearing exercise, so it’s easy on your joints and muscle. It’s great for all ages and is a really good option for those who enjoy swimming.
