Master the Art of Optimization

Welcome back to the “How to Write Like a Pro” series, where we share valuable tips and tricks to improve your writing skills.

If you’ve been following our “How to Write Like a Pro” series, you know that we’ve covered everything from content research to search engine optimization. But there’s still more to learn!

Do you want to know how to optimize images and use internal and external links to improve your SEO? How about crafting compelling and optimized titles for your articles?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then keep reading.

Images can add visual appeal to your article and improve the user experience.

But it’s important to ensure that your images are properly optimized so that they can be found by search engines and improve your overall ranking.

The first step is to use descriptive file names. When you upload an image to your website, it’s important to give it a name that accurately reflects the content of the image. This makes it easier for search engines to understand what the image is about and how it relates to the rest of the content on the page.

The second step is to use alt tags. Alt tags are used to describe the images for search engines and for people who can’t see the images. This is particularly important for those who may be visually impaired and are relying on screen readers to navigate your site. You can add the title or alt attribute to the img tag to ensure that your images are properly described. For example, <img src=”example.jpg” alt=”how to make money online and get paid today”>.

There are also a few tools that can help you optimize your images.

One of my favorites is TinyPNG, which compresses your images without sacrificing quality.

This makes your images load faster, which is important for both the user experience and SEO.

Another great tool is Yoast SEO, which is a plugin for WordPress that helps you optimize your content, including your images. It provides a checklist of things to consider, such as ensuring that your alt tags are properly filled out and that your images are the right size.

Including internal and external links in a blog post is an important aspect of search engine optimization (SEO).

Internal links help to connect different pages on a website and provide additional context and information to the reader. External links, on the other hand, help to establish the credibility and authority of the article by linking to high-quality, relevant sources.

For example, in an article on “How to make money online,” internal links can be used to link to other relevant articles or blog posts on the same website, such as “10 popular e-commerce platforms” or “The best ways to make money online.”

External links can be used to link to reputable sources of information, such as official government websites or industry publications, to provide the reader with additional information and resources.

Meta tags are HTML tags that provide information about a web page to search engines and website visitors.

These tags are placed in the HTML code of a web page, within the head section, and provide information such as page title, description, and keywords.

The two most important meta tags for search engine optimization (SEO) are the “title tag” and the “description tag.”

The title tag appears as the clickable title of the webpage in search engine results and is important for attracting clicks and informing users what the page is about. The description tag appears below the title in search engine results and provides a brief summary of what the page is about.

Here’s an example of how the meta tags might look for an article on “How to make money online in India”:

By including relevant and targeted keywords in the title and description tags, you can help search engines understand what your page is about and increase the chances of it appearing in relevant search results.

However, it’s important to not overstuff the tags with too many keywords, as this can result in search engines considering the content spammy.

By following these tips, you can optimize your article for SEO and make it more likely that it will be found by search engines and readers.

Hurray!! Almost 80% of our job is done.

Now let’s add titles.
